How we became
LADYBIRD VINEYARDS
In April 2022, Laibach Vineyards, the Simonsberg estate was purchased by neighbouring Kanonkop and renamed to Ladybird Vineyards Lodge.
Ladybird Vineyards Lodge is made up of the original Laibach wine cellar, the guest house, and the organically harvested vineyards. The management team of Michael and Anél Malherbe, as well as winemaker Francois van Zyl, remain in their positions.
Ladybird Vineyards 36ha of vineyards include Chenin Blanc, Merlot, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinotage, Petit Verdot and Malbec.
